PORTRAIT PRICES

Years after your family photos have faded, your portrait painting will last for generations.

Memories from special birthdays, anniversaries, and momentous lifetime events are captured with authenticity and interpretive artistic creativity. We will descuss and agree beforehand on the final vision of the portrait. There will be always be communication between the artist and the client for a full understanding of the pose, the ambiance and if there are personal color or detail preferences.

It is agreed between the client and artist the photographic reference used for the final painting. If the client cannot provide a good quality photograph, then the artist will provide a photo session of the subject within the Montreal vicinity.

The price is based on the complexity of the subject with regard to the background setting, intricacy of clothing or jewelry design and the final size of the painting itself. As well the price may vary if there is more than one person or animal in the composition.

Portrait commissions start at $2000 for a head and shoulder pose.

Other options include Half-length, three-quarter, full body and life-size.

Due to the my attention to detail  and realistic style, requirements of drying time for oils, clients should expect delivery of their painting between 4 to 8 weeks

It is agreed to pay a 50% non- refundable fee upon commissioning and when the completed portrait is ready and meets final approval, the balance is due upon delivery. Delivery is included only within the Montreal area, while framing costs and shipping are additional expenses paid for by the client.
